Makeup Lessons in London and the home counties. The power of correctly applied makeup is undeniable and the confidence it can bring. If you are stuck in a rut creating the same makeup styles for years and feel like you are forever guessing what styles suits you, a lesson is perfect for you. My bespoke individual or group makeup lessons will teach you powerful makeup techniques that are current, that specifically suits you and leaves you feeling confident, whatever your age, tone or experience level. What does the Makeup Lesson include?
A bespoke makeup lesson will help you in the art of makeup application:
- Understand the best skincare routine for your skin type.
- Understand all different products and brands such as those by infamous Charlotte Tilbury, Nars or Bobbi Brown and which ones are going to work best for you and are worth investing in.
- Understand your colours, what is harmonious to your colour type.
- Understand your face shape, eye shape and how to enhance your features.
- Understand colour correcting and contouring techniques.
- Understand how to correct your mistakes so you don’t have to restart from scratch – who has time for that!
On completion of the lesson, you will receive a step by step makeup guide to be able to follow on your own along with a full set of SJB Brush set and case to recreate your looks on your own.

What happens during the makeup lesson?
The lesson will last around two – three hours and all content will be tailored to meet your makeup goals and level of experience.
We will begin by discussing what looks you would like to learn and what you find most challenging.
Look at your existing makeup kit and any brushes you have, so have that to hand – however big or small.
The lesson will be a complimentary mix of theory and practical, with a step-by-step approach, showing you through your most flattering makeup styles with you watching and then repeating under my guidance.
Who are the lessons for?
- Women of all ages and skin tones who wish to learn how to better apply their on makeup.
- Brides to be who would rather master their own makeup application, don’t have access to their makeup artist of choice or who are marrying abroad.
- New Mums who have lost a little of themselves in motherhood, and lack time they used to, to apply makeup.
- Influencers or online business owners who are often on camera and want a more polished look.
Makeup lessons are £200 with a complimentary set of SJB Makeup Brushes with case.
Please note there may be. travel fee dependent upon where you would like the lesson to take place.
Lessons can take place at my home studio or your home. You can take pictures, notes, or even record the lesson to refer back to.
