London Wedding day – Helen – One Friendly Place, Deptford, London
Helen was one of my gorgeous London Brides from this year and opted for a bright, colourful and super personalised wedding day.
Helen was actually Helen and the bump on her wedding day, not that you would know. Her beautifully fitting dress from Angelica Bridal in Islington, London and designed by Marylise was the ideal wedding dress. I loved the polka dot prints on the back of the dress and side pockets they added a real touch of fun for the modern bride.
On the Wedding Day
On the day of the wedding, my assistant Keran and I looked after Helen, her 3 maids and her mum for hair and makeup. It was a busy morning getting everyone ready in Peckham. Hair and makeup complete there was one final touch to add to the hair and one of my fave accessories, fresh flowers all in single stems so I could create my own designs to fit Helens soft romantic updo. The flowers were exquisitely made Anna Wallis at Bunch London.
Helen and David were married at St Catherines Church on Telegragh Hill in London and the Wedding breakfast at One Friendly Place. An old spice warehouse in Deptford with an awesome roof terrace perfect for Helens summer wedding. It’s such a cool and quirky space with a real London vibe. I love the details that Helen added to dress the space and bring a little bit of her style to this venue. Don’t forget that cheese wedding cake.
